I have a sick ibook

the other day i had to quit mozilla for it froze
this time the hard drive is spinning and will not do any commands
turning it off does not help
I couldn't get the HD to show up via firewore to the Ti book

some site I went to started to work my browser I had to unplug from the internet I wondered what the fuck they were sending? their page would not load
now I am trying to use th install disk and it has already refused once.
"there is a problem with installing this sofware.." I cant nelieve it is so slow!
checking your installation disc ..
k, the spinniing has now stopped
how with fire wall and all can someting start pumping data into me?
lil snitch doesn't tell you about that, only about yours calling out.
when a site can put files into your computor unannounced, this is what I wish to control.
I am damn sick of being fucked without a smile!
once these are gone I am too.

"YHERE WERE ERRORS IN INSTALLING, RESTART AND TRY..

oh hell, it has restarted on it's own? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I can suggest is doing a safe boot off from the Panther CD.

I used the tutorials at the old forum... not sure what actually worked } shift/option/control=all 3 + start
then start and hold C key.
it never did accept the 1st install disk so that was not it.
I couldn't even get the disk image to show up on the Ti book w/firewire.
re setting the Pram was not the quick fix either.
it was possibly the combination of all of the above or
it was "time"= letting the hard drive finish it's business?

I got the ibook to come back on several times but each time it was not accepting commands.
after trying all the keyboard tricks, the HD was still spinning.

At some point I was able to click the activity monitor but saw nothing revealing.
I just let it spin and waited.
It was so slow to try to do anything I walked away for a while.
when I got back to it, the spinning hd was silent and Iwas able to run mac janitor
then i set my time back, redoing the pram had it in 1969!
as far as I can tell,, not enough ram may have caused it.
if some site had not tried to ram their spyglass up my ass ..
I really do think my unit was busy as hell with some one else's instructions..
these sites want to read all my cookies?
I dump cookies several times a day just so sites cannot get information about where I go.
I was using two browsers and I was full of cookies
the site that tried to "frisk me" made my unit too busy.
I couldn't disconnect the browser, I had to sever the connection by pulling out the phone cord!
the HD was never audible before! it sounded like a fan motor gone wild!
if some where down the road you read about the ability to send a computer instructions unknown to the user, remember this experience of mine!

ibook down again!
all I did was go to a few blogs and open a letter
The letter had two mysterious dots between the lines.
It looked more like a short dash than a dot.
The ibook froze and now it won't start.

the [on going] saga of the ibook is in it's own thread now

Last night I was adding songs to the Ti book using a CD I made on the ibook.
That fucking Q.Time wants to play them instead of itunes and the box asks me
for the i millionth time, to buy it..
NO! I am so tired of crapple I didn't wish to comply and chaeck their box so I quit the app using Force Quit {just to me beligerant
I think it did something...
When I was thru moving the files from the CD it refused to eject.
I even tried shut down and restart, holding down the mouse {that worked in the ibook when it wouldn't release a disk.
The fucking thing wouldn't release the CD even today using disk utility!
It made an attempt to, sort of like when you try to shit and it won't come out?
The damn thing made me soo mad I filed all the songs into one folder and deleted itunes library completely, folders and all.
the damn thing would not cough up the CD UNTIL ..
step for step this is all I did
I clicked open a song on my desktop, it triggered that damned dialogue box to crapple.
this time I checked the box "later" [for you buddy, much later]
the song started to play and I stopped it.
guess what?
now the bloody CD ejected like it was buttered on both sides.

Did that CrApple app, QuickTime tell the player to lock it's legs and hold hostage my tunes?
I think so

:fu: CrApple

I will be trying out Linux on a Sony Vaio before I go for another apple.
I'd like to make some basturdized version of a computer that No One Else Controlled.

I can't cancel it!
It is tucked off to one side and It won't let me drag it!
every damn day this ibook starts some new shit and I don'[t have time for this!
I hate this shit!

fuck it, I trashed it. that worked!
I trashed the file it was supposedly unzipping, no luck
I clicked cancel [again] and the option vanished but it kept un "unzipping"
finally I pulled stuffit from the utilities folder and stuffed it, in the trash!
The damn thing isn't unzipping now ...
I took it back out of trash but I am downloading a new one off their site.
this miserable piece of shit is costing me my morning!

I spoke too soon } [attachment=205]

It isn't good with restarts, they gave me the option to log out and I did.
I unzipped one of my old files and it seemed to work but
I went in another room and it went to sleep, that was fatal.
I just now got it back on.
