not everyone is good at photoshop... and not evreyone has photoshop...
so i have made a list of sites using which u can edit images to create icons, popups , background images etc...
using these sites , u can resize , edit , change transparency , etc etc...

i wud add more n more sites when i can ..

a place to find free apps for both windblows and mac is version tracker.com
C-Net bought them but they still have a place for free downloads of tons of apps.
I got some for making images (Iconographer & Image Well) I just do not know how to use them.
