Reality television shows are sometimes very scripted but even so, the people seem more realistic than "family shows" that are supposed to depict real communication between people.
Just now, I heard a conversation on the tv and I thought ..
"if two people acted like that in real life someone would get a net!
I don't know WHO talks or acts the way TV tries to show us they do?
Maybe that is the reason for the popularity of the "reality show"?
I watch Simple Life but I think it is scripted.
I love The Girls Next Door!
Has anyone seen Surreal Life?
My favorite episodes are with Eric Estrada, Vanilla Ice, Ron Jeremy & Tammy Faye (Baker) Messinger.
The ones with Brigette Neilson were fun too.
As outrageous as it is
it is more like [MY] real life than any
supposedly "regular" depiction of people I see on TV. lately.
old timey TV seemed more realistic.
the people were more believable, even likelable.
Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, even Ally Mc Beal was more real than most tv characters.
