Yeah, I thought that she was facing the other direction too. Odd.

since you think so too, maybe we are right?
I saw a cover of TV Guide with Jeri as 7 of 9 and it was backwards too.
Rhee borg implant was over the wrong eye!
they may well have reversed it unintentionally.

I did a google images search, and all of them came out the same way as the one JD posted. For whatever reason, we're both just confused.

I've had the same wrong recollection as another person before. It's strange, but it happens. We could be thinking about something else I guess. *shrug*

I never really followed pinup artwork. The are few artists whom I am familiar with. One is Olivia, who is pretty much known by everyone, especially her Betty Page work.

Then there's Hajime Sorayama; known mostly for his "sexy robot" paintings, though he has done other paintings of women of flesh rather than steel, and mixes there of.

I've never heard of either one.
I wonder if the robot/flesh art inspired the creation of the character 7 of 9?

It wouldn't surprise me if it did. The thing with the Borg characters is that their robotics are kind of chunky in comparison to what Sorayama painted.

I forgot to mention that I found out about those two because back when I was about 10 or 12 I was really interested in airbrush art, and they were two prominently featured artists in Airbrush Magazine <--- that sound so geeky
