have any of you seen 1984 movie? or the french one alphaville?
both are those kind of movies that talk about the whole "big brither" thingy..
when i saw these movies i remembered jerusalem. if you dont know, jerusalem has a video camera around every 10 meters! when i was there about a month ago (witch reminds me to post some pics) i was walking in the old city and every time i looked up i saw a video cam! its so fucked up! i immediately connected it with the big brother.. i told my gf and she said that i should keep in mind that we are in the most problematic city on earth (i dont agree) so the cameras is a must.. but i dont see it this way, since when big brother is a good thing? i mean the big brother in this case is the fucking military, non objective loaded and ready to shoot soldiers!
it made me feel so sad how no one talks/protests/even mention this thing..
people see it logical and even necessary to have those cameras.. but i see it as awful
