thanks! Good to know, we have skunks in the neighborhood.

I got with in 5 minutes of seeing it all.
the episode is coming on again in a few days.

the list of shows on that site is not complete.
It is only shows that someone has been willing to upload to the site?

I looked for Dog Whisperer (National Geographic Channel) and Absolutely Fabulous (that is a British Comedy)

I would expect to find The Simple Life {Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie's show
The E! channel has other shows I watch: The Girls Next Door and !E News

how long does it take for you to download this 43+ minute show?
if you search Mythbusters archives
look for the one about The Brown Note.
it was filmed so close by I heard the racket.

I can watch this provided I can download it before I get cut off the net.
reconnecting does not ressume the download Sad

Can you see old shows too?
www.tvland.com 's site wouldn't show me shit!

i'd rather not have slow connection if i can afford a fast one.. slow connection is just torture :chopheadoff:

tell me about it .... nothing loads in 10 seconds for me.

to download 43 min of Mythbusters was over 8 hr.
I got cut off before the final 5 minutes
but
it came on today so I watched it again.

they never gave the proportions of baking soda and peroxide ..

the Death ray was done again as a challenge
3 proto types were made by viewers and one did get hot enough to burn.

I still want my satellite TV more than I want internet.
There are shows I can't see without it, even on cable.

Are there other sites with more available?
I would miss the Oxygen Network, !E {entertainment network and
National Geographic Channel.

Were you able to see regularly scheduled shows at www.tvland.com?
they have old Roseanne & All in the Family & Leave it to Beaver.

What about Fox Network's King of the Hill? {sterio-typical [Texan] American family?
I like that show alot.
It doesn't 'piss on it's self' attempting humor like Family Guy

That 70's Show is like looking in a rear view mirror thru the eyes of someone who bought into every commercial & 'Hallmark card' ever made.
So not real!
Who lived like that? in what hermetically sealed bubble?
I bet some one from the old wild west would feel that way about Gunsmoke.
that is still the longest running tv show ever; something like 25 years I believe.

Have you seen Absolutely Fabulous? Confusedignrofl:
I love my TV

I hate "That 70's Show." I don't know how that show made it as long as it did. It was so unfunny that the jokes would just piss me off.

I've seen Absolutely Fabulous, but that was about 10 years ago, and I didn't like it then. I would have to see an episode again to have a real opinion.

I like a lot of british comedy shows. I grew up watching Monty Python, Black Adder, The Young Ones, and a few others. So I appreciate their style of humor. There are some newer ones which I try to watch, but it's tough to catch them since the only show on public broadcasting when they're not begging for money.

Ab Fab is funnier if you have built a history from watching.
I have rarely laughed out loud at a show, that one has had be rolling out of my chair!
the 2 hr finale called The Last Shout is the best!

I confess to watching that 70's show and 3d rock from the sun
in the beginning when they'd show the smoke and it was blatant they were passing the pipe ..
then the wall paper would be moving behind the parent as Eric blankly stared at their talking heads {boy did that take me back!
.. and the time Red and Kitty got stoned on brownies

I like Kitty and Donna and I liked her stupid Mom who was a nudist and got into every fad that came along.

I couldn't stand Kelso or Hyde and I liked to see Eric get tortured.
some scenes with Red and Tommy Chong were funny.

quote Red: "When I die I want to be burried face down so you all can kiss my ass." :kissass:

One british comedy I think you should try, if you can find it, is called Coupling. Speaking of laughing out load, there have been some episodes that had me rolling! I see it on this local channel over here, but if you get the BBC channel off the satellite you should check it out.

british comedy rocks! i love monty python, mother's do have 'em and fawlty towers.. the best!!!

:peace:

the internet has much more of the tvlinks site here:
http://tvrss.net/
but its a torrent search site, so you cant see it while downloading..

you can also use www.isohunt.com and www.torrentspy.com for lots and lots of movies/tvshows/music.. etc.. i get from there everything from casablanca , monty python to bob dylans documentary and the woodstock festival footage

but it wont work great on slow connection, as an example, if you (ann) wont have a disconnection you'll finish downloading a normal movie in about a week or so.. Sad

it took about 8 hrs to get Mythbusters, if that is any comparison, it should be about twice that for a movie.
I wonder if this will help LW? He only has rabbit ears on his tv in Canada
but he has DSL.

will this let you see the show on Dec. 22 with Jeri Ryan?
it is a xmas special with Rod Stewart (it will probably suck!)
