how to make your Mac experience into a giant pain in the ass ..
fucking file vault!
I locked my home folder using file vault.
suddenly I can't move a bloody thing without my password!
Even after I unlocked it, it is asking for my bloody pssword to move a lousy gif!
I had to "duplicate" my home folder, I couldn't "archive it" {I don't have the bloody fucking permissionn to?!!
I had to duplicate it and delete the original .. thanks, CrApple ..
I have turned off file sharing but locking that file vault makes even a simple shut down a big fat pain in the as!
It wants to do a bunch of stuff, not just "shut down" when I ask it to.
M advice is, have a 2d computer that NEVER goes on line, store all your good shit there
and fuck trying to lock your home folder, it isn't worth it.
