does any one here use limewire? - slimken - 01-05-2008

"limewire is a free file sharing Gnutella client for Windows, Mac, OSX, Linux. You can search, download, and share all files, including MP3,OGG,WMA,WMF,WAV ..."

i found it excellent to download many an ebook, directly from the host and browse his/her files too( which were meant for sharing).mp3 ,fonts pdfs etc .

someone tried to get me to once.
If she put the file in their system and I try to go get it
I don't get HER file, I get A File from an unknown source and
it may not even be what it says it is. Confusedhocked:
I'm not that adventurous :titanic:

i use it sometimes to download single songs, but for movies, apps (big stuff) i use torrent

you can use youtorrent.com to search for the .torrent file and then download the file using an app called transmission

its not recommender at all if you dont have fast connection tho

Some times i am using this stuff, while i need to share some important data among my friends. It's sucks lots of bandwidth so i avoid to use while it is unneccessary..
